EDITORIAL POLICY
Our mission is to report and critically review the arts with intelligence, objectivity, honesty, and integrity. Through the examination of the arts in our editorial content we plan on generating discourse about the Dallas/Fort Worth arts community. ArtDFW supports and records the spirit of adventure, experimentation, and innovation in the local art scene. We already are a visible and viable presence in the regional, national, and international art communities and aim to take a leading role in providing access to the arts in the Metroplex.
OUR FOCUS
ArtDFW is a visually oriented website with a focus on the contemporary visual and performing arts scene in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. We feature articles, interviews, and reviews on the visual and performing arts, books, music, and cultural commentary. Our page design is elegant and sophisticated, with large-format layouts for art, photography, and mixed-media work. Interviews with local and visiting artists--both emerging and established--museum curators, artistic directors, gallery directors, collectors, and others involved in various aspects of the arts grace our pages. Our primary contributors are artists and writers living and working in the area.
ArtDFW strives to be the eyes, ears, and voice of the art community throughout the Metroplex.
